James T. Duffy, 69, a longtime Libertyville resident, passed away on January 25, 2025. Jim, a Saint Mary's University of Minnesota graduate, enjoyed a successful career in Information Technology sales. While known for his sharp intellect, Jim's true legacy lies in his warmth, humor, and generosity. He had a knack for brightening any room with his quick wit and playful spirit, and his kindness extended to everyone he met, even perfect strangers. A man of exceptional character, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying the true meaning of compassion.
Above all, Jim cherished his family. His love for them was unwavering and served as the foundation of his life. Beyond his professional and personal achievements, Jim was a passionate golfer. Jim's presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. He brought more love into this world and will be deeply missed.
