Kelly E. Schneider age 77, of Mundelein, IL, formerly of Lena, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Thrive of Lake County in Mundelein, IL. He was born on June 26, 1947, to Daniel and Annette (Campbell) Schneider in Freeport, IL. In his early years Kelly lived on a farm with his family between Lena and Warren. When his father died, he moved to Warren with his mother until she passed away in 2009. He then moved to the Vernon Hills area and joined his brother and sister-in-law where he lived the last 15 years of his life. Kelly enjoyed participating in social activities through the Special Recreation District of Lake County, going out to dinner with family and friends, and watching television, especially Gunsmoke and The Office. He was a friend to all the people he knew. He was polite to everyone he met, and his personality endeared him to everyone.
