Michael Angelo Signorio "Mike", age 63, of Barrington, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Good Shepard Advocate Hospital in Barrington after a long illness. Mike was born on June 2, 1961, in Highland Park, IL to Angelo and Donna Lee (Hunter) Signorio. Mike graduated from Highland Park High School in the class of 1979 and spent his adult life in the commercial cleaning industry most notably as owner and operator of Republic Cleaning Services, Irving, TX. Republic's client, the North Texas Transit Authority, proved to be as rewarding as it was challenging and his stories about maintaining the "speedway" were funny although harrowing.
After relocating from the Dallas area back to his hometown, Highwood, to care for his ailing father in 2013, Mike took a managerial position with the ACE Hardware company in Barrington, IL. Mike was integral to the store's success and his expertise and knowledge were requested b
