Fields, DennisDennis Richard Fields, 78, passed away peacefully on January24, 2025. He is survived by his children, Leslie (Seth) Katz, Alex Fields, and Ben Fields; his grandchildren, Ruth, Hugo, and Olympia; and his nieces, Nicole Azmat and Stacey Fields. Born on June 26, 1946, in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago to Ruth and Theodore Fields, Dennis earned a B.A. from Stanford University in 1968, a J.D. from Northwestern School of Law in 1972 and spent his career as an attorney and real estate developer. Following in the footsteps of his father, Theodore, who played college football at the University of Chicago in the 1930s, Dennis was a talented lifelong athlete. He was his kid's most dedicated coach and proudest fan, instilling life lessons and encouraging them in all their pursuits. Dennis is predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert Fields, and his sister Rhonda Fields. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association atwww.l
