Marian Arthur Dudley, 84 passed away on June 30, 2024, in Barrington, IL. She was born on January 30, 1940, in Bedford County, VA. She was a cherished member of her community, a devoted educator, loving wife, and mother.Raised in Bedford County, VA, she moved to Amherst County, VA, graduating from Amherst County High School in 1958. She graduated from James Madison University in 1962, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English.  Marian dedicated her career to shaping young minds, first at Pulaski County, VA Middle School and then at Ellen Glascow Middle School in Fairfax, VA. Marian was an active PTA member and PTA president working closely with the school principal and teachers supporting the school’s activities. She performed part-time work in the University of MD Adult Education Department’s Accounts Receivable office.
