In loving memory of Leigh Shiras Bickmore, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 60. Leigh was the beloved wife to David (Dave), loving mother to Thomas (Tom), Bradley (Brad), David (Davey), and James, cherished sister of Winfield (Wiff), Robert (Rob), and Anne (Nan); fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; dear friend to countless people. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Leigh, born on February 4, 1964, to two doting parents, Sherrill and Winfield Shiras, was a bundle of sunshine from the very beginning. In her early years, Leigh could be found roaming the shores in her hometown of Laguna Beach, CA digging for clams and exploring the tide pools.
At the age of 14, Leigh moved to Lake Forest, IL where she attended Lake Forest High School for one year. She then moved to Winnetka, IL and attended New Trier High School for the remainder of her high school years. After high school, she went to Kendall College in Evanston before moving west to attend the University
